The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin´67
I just got back from Burn the Floor, on off broadway dance performance now playing at the Colonial Theater in Boston. This song may seem completely random, but I love it, and a rendition of this piece was used in the show.
Looking at those Bodies just makes me want to dance and keep up with running, but today was a fail in terms of exercise as I went straight from work to meeting up for dinner (at Vapiano's which was a major find by Sara. I was so busy I forgot to grab my camera! If you live in Boston, check the place out. Cafeteria style but super trendy decor. Very tres chic!). Tomorrow is also a major fail because I have to babysit. Oh well, that's why this is Lauren and her life, and not lauren only works, runs, eats, and sleeps! 8 miles saturday morning with my running team. Piece. of. cake.
Also, I have a secret to share with you. Shhhh. I secretly lovegettingupat6:45onsaturdaymorningstorun. I can't believe how nice it is to get up an hour and 15 minutes later than normal to do something that feels so invigorating. Plus I get to hang out with a bunch of snazzy ladies and two awesome coaches who totally make it feel like social club instead of running club. Score.
Oh yea AND you all remember Stephanie, THE one and only Stephanie that tried Veganism and failed after 3 days? Well Stephanie (who is mostly vegetarian slightly pescetarian) shared an article with me (that I have yet to read) about why people should go Vegetarian. I will review the information and then share my thoughts! I don't think I could ever go vegetarian, but maybe I'll challenge one of you to try it and blog about it!
OH YEA AND AND thanks to the famous Molly from Pop.Bop.Shop, (voted #2 Best Blog in Boston) for pushing my fundraising total to 45 percent of my goal! Yay!
I'm tired. It's time for bed. Thank you for listening to me blog about nothing this evening!
